
Susa Coffey, MD

Dr. Susa Coffey is an expert in primary care for HIV and AIDS patients at 360 and in the HIV/AIDS division at San Francisco General Hospital. Coffey also is an associate medical editor of HIV InSite, where she researches, writes, edits and adapts clinical reference and training materials on treatment and prevention of HIV and AIDS for doctors, nurses and others in health care. She is active in the San Francisco HIV/AIDS community and worked at Tom Waddell Health Center's HIV Center and Lyon-Martin Women's Clinic.
Coffey earned a medical degree and completed a residency in internal medicine in primary care at UCSF and San Francisco General Hospital. She is a member of numerous professional societies, such as the American Academy of HIV Medicine and the Community Consortium and is the medical editor of the AIDS Education and Training Centers National Resource Center.
