Jennie Buss

Jennie Buss is a 360: Positive Care Center case manager who works with the general population as well as within 360's Men of Color Program. As a case manager she helps to complete the circle of care model where patients can receive vital social resources while they're receiving medical care in the clinic's setting. Having a case manager on site helps to relieve the stress of going to different agencies throughout San Francisco for patients and it also helps patients to cope with the stress of the bureacracy involved with receiving different services. The case manager also facilitates a weekly support group for men of color at UCSF AIDS Health Project where clients share their lives in an open, respectful environment.
Jennie completed her Bachelor's degree in Sociology at University of California, Berkeley and has worked for various non-profits throughout the Bay Area. She's worked with a variety of populations in need of culturally sensitive care. While in school Jennie conducted research around mental illness and counterculture. Jennie has worked towards the cause of social justice in academic and work related settings and continues to advocate for 360 patients who are in need of compassionate service and care.
