Your results are reviewed by the practice nursing staff and your provider. You will be notified immediately if test results indicate that you have an urgent problem. Usually patients receive routine laboratory results during regularly scheduled appointments.

If you are concerned about the results of a test, please discuss this with your provider, who can make other arrangements to provide your results to you and any additional information you may need.

Please remember that some test results may take up to two weeks to come back. Your provider or practice nursing staff can provide you with information about when your test results are likely to become available.

Please also note that HIV screening test results (antibodies) are always provided during an in-person clinic visit.
